I hope everyone is enjoying the break and the extra time with family and friends. It will be great to see all the children again on Monday.
December was quite a busy month. We spent most of the month focusing on shared traditions and different holidays celebrated during this month. The kids also had a great time looking at all the family projects displayed in our hallway!
December was full of fun. We had a stuffed animal day, a drummer visit day and a party where we decorated gingerbread houses. Thank you to all who donated time and supplies for the party and the gingerbread houses. The kids had a great time! Below are some pictures from the party and the other fun activities we ended December with. Thank you to the PTO for bringing the Rhythm Kids Drummers to us!

Winter Math
We have introduced several new math games. Each of these games is designed to build and strengthen your child's number sense. Adding numbers, counting and comparing are the concepts we are developing right now. All of these class games are differentiated in the classroom according to the your child's ability level.
Below I have provided some links to websites where you can practice these games. (The Number Match game is similar to the Dot- Match- it game your children have played in class. Please select "number - object" and the "memory" version of the game).
